Jerry was inducted into the SHSAA Packer Sports Greats in 2003.
Jerry Vodicka played football, basketball and baseball and won 10 letters. He received “All Intercity” in basketball and won “All Intercity” in baseball for three years. Jerry played semi-pro baseball for 2 years in Valentine, Nebraska, and played Basketball and Baseball for Mississippi Southern for 2 years, and played baseball for Omaha University for 2 years. He played for the New York Yankees for 2 years, for the U.S. Army baseball team for 2 years.
