JIM SANDSTEDT

​Inducted in 2004

Jim was inducted into the SHSAA Packer Sports Greats in 2004.

Jim Sandstedt lettered five times at SHS -- two times in Football, two times in Basketball and once for Baseball.   He was All City and All State in Basketball in 1940; and All Big Six Champion 1948. 

​Jim played Baseball and Basketball at Iowa University in 1941; Basketball in 1946 and Baseball from 1946 through 1949 at the University of Nebraska. 

He was appointed by then Governor Frank Morrison to the Department of Aeronautics State of Nebraska from1963 to 1967.  Sandstedt coached at Wahoo High School 1949-1950 and 1953-1954.
