Vic was inducted into the SHSAA Hall of Fame in 2017.
Vic was a member of the Refrigeration Service and Engineering Society for over 30 years. He is now retired. While in this society he held the office of Treasurer and then President. Vic received the Meritorious Service Award from the 4-H organization where he worked in various positions. Vic and his wife, Beverly (Forman)-1964, have donated three years of schooling for students interested in the trades at Milford. Vic has been a member of the Omaha South High School Alumni Association for 24 years. During this time, he chaired the annual Spaghetti Dinner for 12 years, chaired several garage sales, donated hours upon hours of labor and time to other events, and is always one of the first board members to volunteer his time to any event hosted by the SHS Alumni Association. Vic follows his Czech heritage and rarely does a week go by that doesn’t include polka dancing! Vic and Bev have been married for 52 years and have three sons, six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. |
