If there ever is a need for a monument to be erected for this next honoree you need not look any further than the school in which we spend so much time day after day. Dean Rezac is the Area Superintendent and Assistant Vice President of Linde/Ronco Construction Company and oversaw the Phase Three Renovation of SHS. To Mr. Rezac it was like returning home after a long journey, for the dedication and concern which he brought to the project as the same as it would have been if it had been his own home. In fact, to steal a baseball analogy, the newly remodeled SHS could be called the "house that Dean built." In his construction career, Mr. Rezac has been responsible for many important Omaha buildings including Northwest Bell, Richard Young Hospital, Boys Town Institute, University Medical Center and Capehart Chapel. Dean Rezac is a past trustee of Carpenters Local 400 and is currently a charter member of the South High Alumni Association. A member of the Red Cross Gallon Club, Mr. Rezac also poured a lot of blood, sweat and tears into the South High renovation. |
