MICHAEL RAMIREZ

​Inducted in 2008

Mike was inducted into the Packer Sports Greats in 2008.

He participated in football and track, earning four letters.  For football Mike was voted All State, All Intercity two times, as well as receiving the Brandeis Award for exceptional ability and enthusiastic play.  He lettered in football at UNO in 1957, transferred to Peru State College where he was named All Nebraska College Conference, and All Conference Offensive Team.  He also played semi-pro football with the Omaha Mustangs in 1964 and 1965. 

​Later Mike became the Physical Education Director and then Director of Job Development for the Omaha Boys’ Clubs.  He was a counselor for UNO in 1970 and a special FBI agent for 25 years, from 1971 to 1996.
