DON LOFTUS

Don was inducted into the SHSAA Packer Sports Greats in 2010.

Don Loftus earned seven letters – three in football and four in wrestling.  He was selected All-Metro Tackle and All-State in 1963 and Co-Captain in football.  Don was also selected All-Metro three times, won the State wrestling championship twice, placing third once in State and winning the District championship twice.  He was elected Homecoming King his senior year.

After graduation he helped coach young athletes in South Omaha.  Don operated his own construction company before passing away in 1977.
