LOUIS KRAMOLISCH

Louis was inducted posthumously into the SHSAA Packer Sports Greats in 2022.

High School:

• Basketball: 3 letters; starting point guard; all-city runner-up; 1939 state qualifier
• Baseball: 3 letters; starting pitcher; all-city champions, state qualifier
• Football: 3 letters; starting quarterback and rated as one of the best kickers in the Intercity ranks
• He played all three sports under Cornie Collin

After High School:

• Recruited by University of San Francisco to try out as a punter; Detroit Tigers & Cincinnati Reds showed interest in his baseball pitching
• Lou joined the U.S. Army instead; he earned a rank of Private as a paratrooper during WWII
• He was married for over 60 years to his South High School sweetheart Pearl and had two boys, Marty & Jay
• CYO Basketball champs; pitcher for both baseball and fast pitch softball
• Lou passed in 2012.
