Ed was inducted into the Packer Sports Greats in 2004.

Ed Hubbard lettered in Basketball three times and in Track twice. He was a member of the All City and All State Basketball team 1956; 440 yard dash Class A Champion 1955; and Gold Medal Winner 1956. Ed played basketball at Creighton University and retired from employment with the State of Nebraska after 30 years.
