Steven was inducted into the SHSAA Hall of Fame in 2006.
Dr. Diamantis is a staff cardiologist at Alegent Health Immanuel Medical Center Heart & Vascular Institute in Omaha. He also practices at Fremont Area Medical Center, Alegent Health Bergan Mercy Medical Center, Nebraska Methodist Hospital, and consults or has access at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Vally, IA, Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, NE, Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, IA, Alegent Health Memorial Hospital in Schuyler, NE, and Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, NE. Dr. Diamantis received his BA Cum Laude in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1973, and his MD from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha in 1977. He served his Internal Medicine Residency from 1977 through 1980, and his Cardiology Fellowship from 1980 through 1982, both at Creighton University Affiliated Hospitals. He is Certified as Diplomate by the National Board of Medical Examiners; as Diplomate Internal Medicine; as Diplomate Sub-specialty of Cardiovascular Disease; and as a Diplomate Sub-specialty of Interventional Cardiology - all by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow at the American College of Cardiology. |
