GEORGE BUGLEWICZ

​Inducted in 1991

​George was inducted into the SHSAA Hall of Fame in 1991.

After serving as a Douglas County Commissioner for 14 years, Mr. Buglewicz served as the Register of Deeds. "Serving on the Student Court as a judge en-kindled in me an interest in public service which has driven me ever since. Through my attendance at South High, I gained the knowledge of the importance of community service."

Mr. Buglewicz was honored by United Way of the Midlands, the Democratic Party, the Sons of Italy and named as an honored member of 'Who's Who in Government Service in America".

George passed away in 1997.
