RICHARD BROWN

​Richard was inducted into the SHSAA Packer Sports Greats in 2002.

Richard earned a total of ten letters in wrestling, track and football. In wrestling he was named All-City and All-State. He was the captain of the 1957 State Football Championship team. The late Mickey Sporano called Richard Brown the greatest wrestler he had ever coached. 

Richard coached youth sports and was a social worker at the Wesley House. His teams won numerous championships in all sports.

He was a 1983 inductee in the Nebraska Scholastic Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He was 1997-1998 Man of the Year in Nebraska Kid's Wrestling.
