LLOYD BRAZDA

​Lloyd was inducted into the SHSAA Packer Sports Greats in 2010.

Lloyd Brazda earned five letters while at SHS, three in baseball and two in basketball.   He made the All-City baseball team in both 1950 and 1951.  The 1950 team was Intercity Champions, and the 1951 team was runner up to North High School.  Lloyd was selected as the 1951 Kiwanis Player of the Year.  He pitched on the 1949 championship Legion Team which was a sectional finalist. 

He signed a professional baseball contract after graduation with the Brooklyn Dodger organization, pitching for Ponca City which won the KOM League Championship in 1951. 

​Lloyd is a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
