ROBERT BELL

​Robert was inducted into the SHSAA Hall of Fame in 1992.

Robert Bell is the retired General Manager of the Metropolitan Utilities District. He was the first employee appointed to the position of General Manager. Bell is a past president of the Downtown Rotary Club and a member of the Board of Trustees of Clarkson Hospital. He has also served in leadership capacities for the United Way of the Midlands, the YMCA, and Boy Scouts of America.

He graduated for the University of Nebraska at Omaha and was presented the UNO Alumnus Achievement Citation. Bell is currently a Commissioner of the Nebraska Natural Resource Commission.

Robert passed away in 1996.
