Contributor Award

​Jerry was awarded the Contributor Award during the 2011 SHSAA Packer Sports Greats ceremony.

Jerry, Assistant Superintendent for Omaha Public Schools, was honored with the 2011 Contributor’s Award for his support and leadership of Omaha South High Magnet School and for starting the Packer Sports Greats Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996 when he was the Principal at SHS.

​He was also inducted into the Nebraska Black Sports Hall of Fame.
