SHS Sports Greats Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Form

Since 1992, the Sports Greats Committee has honored SHS alumni for their athletic accomplishments. Many championships were won due to these individuals, giving great glory and pride to South High and the South Omaha community. Honorees have been nominated by family, friends and former coaches.

We are continuously looking for nominations for candidates worthy of SHS Packer Sports Greats - Athletic Hall of Fame. If you know someone who you think is deserving of this award, please nominate them! The deadline to nominate for a particular year is February 1st. Submit a NOMINATION FORM now!

Please consider the following areas for your recommendation:

One with outstanding athletic accomplishments while at South, and beyond.
Graduates may not be inducted until 5 years after graduation from SHS.
Please include detailed athletic résumé or statistics, any letters of recommendation, and newspaper clippings, awards, or archival evidence, if available.
Nominee must support South High Alumni Association.
Selected inductees are required, if at all possible, to attend the Induction Ceremony.
