Anita was inducted into the SHSAA Packer Sports Greats in 2025.

High School:

• Cross-County (4 letters) / Track (3 letters):
  • State Qualifier in Cross Country (2 times) and Track (3 times)
  • 2016 School Record Holder for the 1600m
  • All-City in cross-country and track
  • Team Captain
• Also earned 4 letters in basketball

​After High School:

• Attended University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) as a Division I student-athlete in cross country and track & field
• Set the Women’s Indoor 4x800m Relay Record (9:11.27) at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex
• Consistently one of UNO’s top five cross country runners
• Owner of Peyotes Event Venue
• Chief Operating Officer at Top Flight Fitness
• Volunteers with Camp Abilities at Boys Town, a summer program designed to empower children with visual impairments.
• Returns to SHS to support student-athletes at meets and share her experiences as a collegiate runner
