Sharon Rose Davis

Class of 1964 - Inducted in 2000
Mrs. Davis was inducted into the SHSAA Hall of Fame in 2000.

Mrs. Davis is the co-manager of the Davis Companies, which specializes in providing lines of insurance and risk management services. It also includes a bonding and technical services consulting company, which helps small businesses win construction contracts.

In 1989, Mrs. Davis and her husband, Dick, endowed the million dollar Davis Scholarship Program, which has provided opportunities for more than 100 of the best and brightest minority students in Nebraska. The fund furnishes a full scholarship for up to four years based on successful academic performance. In 1999, Davis began a new project to establish a $1.25 million dollar endowment that funds both two and four years scholarships at higher education institutions.

Mrs. Davis is a trustee of the University of Nebraska Foundation and a member of its Administrative Committee.
